WE CAN HELP ...

At Weaver Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic, we know all about kids and teens sporting injuries as we treat them on a regular basis.
We understand the importance of early intervention, of receiving a thorough assessment, diagnosis and treatment, and we have vast experience in treating acute and overuse injuries. Understanding the cause of an injury is an essential part of the learning process and incorporating injury prevention into a training programme, can greatly reduce the risk of further injuries.

STRENGTH TRAINING FOR YOUNGSTERS

Strength training for children can be beneficial whether they are sporty or not, it improves physical fitness, promotes strength and bone health as well as helping with weight gain and muscle strength. It is also a good tool for injury prevention for those more athletic, by helping them be strong, co-ordinated as well as development of good movement patterns.

Strength training at Weaverphysio incorporates safe training techniques under qualified supervision, empowering your child to train between sessions with confidence. We offer different packages which include 1-to-1 in person coaching, hybrid support, or online check-ins, depending on your plan, the right package for you can de discussed during the initial introduction appointment, and are listed here. Each session focusses on techniques education, training principles and accountability to help stay consistent and make measurable progress.

So, if you have a child who is active, or maybe concerned they are not active enough then give us a call to see how we can help, Afterall an active child is a happy child!
